Traveonta Ladell Johnson, 27, was arrested May 21 on a felony charge of criminal mischief in connection with a house explosion that completely destroyed a Texarkana residence in February. The incident highlights a dangerous oversight that could have resulted in far worse consequences.

On February 2, the Texarkana Texas Fire Department was dispatched to a reported structure fire at 210 Oakhill Road.
