Finn's Take· TL;DRNetflix has officially opened its first two permanent entertainment venues, transforming fan obsessions into physical experiences that let visitors step directly into their favorite shows. Netflix House Dallas at Galleria Dallas and the Philadelphia location at King of Prussia are both open for business , marking a bold expansion beyond streaming into immersive entertainment.
These aren't temporary pop-ups or limited engagements. Spanning more than 100,000 square feet, Netflix House is a first-of-its-kind, permanent, year-round home for fans that's free to enter and represents the company's biggest bet yet on translating digital content into real-world experiences.
"For two decades, fans have welcomed us into their homes, and we thought it's about time we welcome them into ours," explains Greg Lombardo, Netflix's Vice President of Experiences.
The star attraction is undoubtedly the Squid Game experience, where visitors can participate in the show's infamous trials without the fatal consequences. Players compete in 5 thrilling games in the arena, face off against the Front Man, and compete against their friends for a chance to be the last player standing , including fan-favorites like Red Light Green Light.
"Squid Game" participants are given a numbered bracelet that is used to track their progress through the trials , creating an authentic competitive atmosphere. Still, "Red Light Green Light" feels as anxiety-inducing as if lives were on the line , according to early visitors.
The Stranger Things experience takes a different approach, transforming visitors into search and rescue team members. Visitors are added to a search and rescue operation through Hawkins to find three missing people, equipped with a flashlight, you walk through the police station, a classroom, Eddie Munson's home and Castle Byers .
Beyond the headline experiences, both locations feature Netflix Bites restaurants serving show-themed food and cocktails, plus arcade areas with games based on series like KPop Demon Hunters and Love Is Blind. Netflix House requires no entry fee, with games and attractions priced between $10 and $39 .
The Dallas and Philadelphia locations offer different experiences to encourage repeat visits. When you visit Philadelphia, catch an eye-popping macabre carnival that only Wednesday Addams could design (appropriately called Wednesday: Eve of the Outcasts), ONE PIECE: Quest for the Devil Fruit, a high-stakes escape room inspired by Luffy and his crew .
Netflix House represents a significant shift in how streaming platforms think about audience engagement. For years, studios and networks have constructed expensive, temporary activations at fan events like San Diego Comic-Con, or introduced touring experiences featuring beloved IP. As Netflix does, they went bigger, fittingly, in Texas .
