Amazon Prime Day 2026 officially started Tuesday, June 23, at 12:01 a.m. PDT and ran through midnight on Friday, June 26 — and today is the last day to act. We've reached the fourth and final day of the mega sale, and once deals are over, you won't see prices nearly as low for months.

Unlike previous sales, this year's Prime Day was earlier than ever. In 2025, by comparison, Amazon held its Prime Day sale from July 8 through July 11. The 2026 event is several weeks earlier and marks only the second time that the sale has gone live this early in the year. Amazon moved Prime Day 2026 to June, with reports connecting the earlier timing to a crowded July calendar, including the World Cup and the United States' 250th Independence Day celebrations.

In fact, prices are so low during Prime Day that she doesn't recommend buying Amazon devices any other time of year.

Tech is one of the few categories where "the thing people plan to buy and the thing actually worth buying happen to be the same," says Carls. Sales on smart home devices, earbuds, tablets, speakers, smartwatches, e-readers, laptops and more from brands like Apple, Sony, JBL, Beats, Anker, and Sonos are very strong, and more than 30 percent of consumers planned to shop them. Specific standouts this year include the Bose SoundLink Max, now up to 30% off, delivering deep, room-filling bass with 20 hours of battery life, waterproof and dustproof durability. Meanwhile, the Google Pixel 10 Pro is up to 29% off , and the Fitbit Charge 6 fitness tracker, which includes a three-month Google Health premium membership, is up to 47% off.

Deals Across Every Category

Prime Day brings millions of exclusive deals to Prime members across more than 35 categories, including electronics, kitchen, home, beauty, fashion, and groceries. Members can save up to 65% off select devices across Kindle, Ring, Echo, Fire TV, Blink, and eero. On the home and outdoor side, shoppers can save up to 35% off an EGO POWER+ cordless leaf blower, which delivers air speeds up to 180 MPH. And the Samsung Frame TV, which doubles as a personal art gallery delivering stunning 4K visuals with AI-enhanced picture and sound, is now up to 36% off.

Shopping experts spent weeks combing through thousands of discounts, recommending only deals that are highly rated and 20 percent off or more, as well as at their lowest price in at least three months. Don't Wait — and Know What to Skip

New deals drop as often as every five minutes at certain points throughout the event, so if you don't see your favorite item on sale, you might need to check back. Keep an eye on Amazon's Lightning Deals, which are flash sales that give shoppers a short window to purchase limited quantities of specific products.

Prime Day, the tech-centric sale, comes first this year, and July Fourth — the home and kitchen-centric sale — comes second. You might be tempted to add a mattress or grill to your Prime Day cart, but experts say to hold off. Save those purchases for July Fourth sales instead. Some major retailers have overlapped their sale events with Prime Day, including Walmart, whose Deals Event runs from June 22 to 28, and Target, whose Circle Days deals started on June 22. With competing sales happening simultaneously, savvy shoppers have more options than ever — but the Prime Day clock runs out tonight.
